.Another
rare
and unusual Shot Case shot dispenser. It is patented in 1879
and made by Dillingham & Co.
Sheboygan, Wis. The wood case measures 25" wide x
12" high x 10" deep. There are 8 compartments, 16
small round windows and 2 drawers. The shot was loaded
into the top of the case above each compartment with a funnel.
Another example of a case made by the manufacturer is found on
page 20.
In top condition the value of the
dispenser should be around $800.00.
