SUMMARY: James Hamilton is the father of Ezekiel Hamilton. He never immigrated to the United States. It must be assumed he lived out his days in Ireland. No dates are yet available for his birth and death or the number of children he had with his wife Margaret Scott. This information was related to me by Virginia Hamilton on January 18, 1999, the day her mother, Ruth Deitweiler Hamilton died at the age of 97. She also told me that James had a sister that lived in Parksburg, PA and her name was _____ Black. This was related to Virginia by her father, Earl Ezekiel Hamilton. He was very young at the time when he met her in her Parksburg home. Earl was born in 1897, so it could have been in the very early 1900's that this meeting took place.
